What You’ll Need
Cotton Candy
Circle Mold or Hot Chocolate Bomb Mold
Edible Ink Markers
Sprinkles
Mini Marshmallows
Optional: Edible Snowman Kit (from your local dollar store)
Edible Snowman Package from the Dollar Store
Chelli Tips:
When I did this for the first time I tried to make a complete circle using 2 halves. However, I found that using ONE side and then closing up with extra cotton candy worked better for me. If you have hot hands, the cotton candy may stick to your hands; just wash and dry off fingers between each snowman if that happens :)
I did not add the hot chocolate mix in the sphere.
How You Do It:
Take your cotton candy and press into the mold. Make a well or hole in the center fill with sprinkles, marshmallows or whatever you like!
Close up the back with more cotton candy.
Remove from mold.
Add your decorations: eyes, nose, mouth and etc. ( I used a VERY little amount of water to attach eyes and nose from the kit I had). If you do not have the kit you can use: edible markers or use royal icing, you can use other store bought candy or whatever you can fine that would resemble the “face” you want. Just make sure it's edible ;)
Keep dry till ready to use! Once you are ready, place your snowman in a cup of hot chocolate, stir and enjoy!
Note: Since these are made of cotton candy, they should be used or consumed within 3-4 days. After that, they may start to break down, so it’s best not to prepare them too far in advance.
Use Cases:
You could use this for a kids party, teacher gifts, stocking stuffers or just something fun to do with the kids or grandkids :)
